REVIEWS & PHOTOS:
THE EBI REVIEW: César doesn’t take reservations, but at 10PM on a Sunday there wasn’t much of a crowd. The menu varies, and on the night we visited, the options for vegetarians were slim. The waitress didn’t understand my girlfriend’s fish-friendly vegetarianism and suggested the potaje de cesar chorizo. We chose a plate of three Spanish cheeses (cow, goat and sheep), the salt cod and potato cazuela (too salty) and a portobello mushroom bocadillo (oily and delicious). The three plates plus the complimentary olives and bread were enough for the two of us, but we still ordered a pot of crema de chocolate. For more late-night tapas, check out Fonda.
