FOOSH™ SERIOUSLY CAFFEINATED ENERGY MINTS
WHAT ARE THEY?
FOOSH™ Energy Mints are large peppermints containing caffeine, ginseng, taurine and five B-Vitamins. One tin of FOOSH™ contains a dozen mints.
HOW MUCH CAFFEINE?
This is the first product I’ve tried that I can say lives up to its caffeine claims. Per the packaging, 1 mint = 1 cup of coffee. FOOSH™ even did third-party testing to compare their product with others. FOOSH™ creams the competition with a declared 100.08mg of caffeine per serving. (Compare that to roughly 25mg per serving of Jolt Gum.) This is actually pretty fascinating stuff. Check out the tests by Silliker Labs and Sani-Pure Food here. (This link takes you to an interactive Flash chart with downloadable PDFs.)
WHAT ELSE IS IN IT?
Besides 100mg of caffeine, the energy-enhancing ingredients in FOOSH™ include: B-Vitamins, Ginseng and Taurine. The complete list of ingredients is: Sorbitol, Caffeine, Natural Peppermint Extract, Other Natural and Artificial Flavors, Proprietary Synergistic Energy Blend: (Taurine, Ginseng, Vitamins: Niacinamide, Pantothenic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamin Mononitrate, Cyanocobalamin), Magnesium Stearate, Salt, Sucrolose, Acesulfame-K, Aspartame*, Blue 1. * Phenylketonurics: contains Phenylalanine.

HOW MANY PER PACKAGE?
Twelve mints (or 12 cups of coffee) and 60 total calories (5 per mint) for $3.49.
HOW DO THEY TASTE?
Frankly, they taste chalky like a peppermint Tums with little dots like those bath balls you buy and place by your tub to look sensitive. But don’t let that dissuade you. FOOSH™ contains a blend of bitter-tasting caffeine, B-Vitamins and Ginseng which they’ve done their best to mask with sweeteners and flavors. Products that promise smooth and tasty can’t deliver the same energy kick. Per the Vroom Foods FAQ, “the ingredients in the mint melt in the mouth at different rates giving the mints their distinctive texture.” Just like OxyContin!
CLAIMS TO FAME (per FOOSH™ website):
FOOSH™ Energy Mints contain a proprietary blend of energy producing ingredients which enhance performance, increase endurance, stimulate the metabolism.
Each and every FOOSH™ contains 25% MORE caffeine than an entire can of Red Bull™ with more energy producing ingredients (five B vitamins instead of four). The product is absorbed through your cheek wall lining and under your tongue. The absorption is quicker this way than if it just went through your digestive tract. Don’t believe us… ask the army. They spent your tax dollars to study this stuff.
Ginseng has been known to stimulate physical and mental activity especially in tired or weak patients, defend against physical strain, act as a mental stimulant and stimulates the endocrine glands, including the sex glands.THE EBI OPINION:
Hands down, FOOSH™ Energy Mints are the reigning winner for energy candies in my sampling study thus far. They really work. If you’re on a budget, diet or deadline, you owe it to yourself to check these out. Taken with a meal, the effect was similar to a cup of coffee and hit quickly. Taken on an empty stomach, I had heart palpitations and was up all night. I find the perfect application to be during the after-lunch slump.

Actually one of many challenges which people starting a brand new on-line company face is that of obtaining guests to their internet site.
